TYPE:
_Full-time from May through August with the potential to continue beyond August (ability to start part-time and transition to full-time if finishing high school or a college term)_

SectionStar by Clarapath is a ground-breaking automated system designed to be used in histology laboratories by trained personnel to section cell and tissue samples and transfer those sections to glass slides for a pathologist to review.

These samples are used to diagnose cancer or autoimmune disorders, and are vitally important in determining treatment plans and patient outcomes.

Through the use of innovative technology, data and precision analytics Clarapath is paving the way for a new era of laboratory medicine.


Role Summary:


Responsibilities_:
_


  • Assemble parts and components according to specifications from work instructions
  • Prepare work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials
  • Use hand tools to assemble parts, as needed
  • Conduct quality control checks on the assembled parts in order to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in work area
  • Collaborate with engineers, other team members and supervisors to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to product assembly
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
  • Perform additional assembly tasks and pitch in on manufacturing floor as needed

Qualifications_:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to read, interpret and follow internal work instructions and specifications
  • Familiarity with basic tools used in production processes
  • Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work in fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements
