- Peer fundraising events.
- Partner with chapter staff to ensure event fundraising goals are realized and or exceeded; provide administrative support to these events during the year.
- Oversee the recruitment and stewardship of participants in assigned Team JDRF events, including the Falmouth Road Race and runDisney race series.
- Maintain detailed accounts of teams, committees, and donor relationships across assigned Peer-to
- Peer events.
- Assist with logistics leading up to events, including JDRF One Walk, JDRF Ride, and Team JDRF as needed.
- Communicate effectively with event day volunteers and chapter staff to ensure proper flow of information within the chapter. Serve as the volunteer point of contact for volunteers at select events leading up to, during, and after the event has ended.
- Coordinate, evaluate, and expand fundraising and non-fundraising programs under the direction of the Development Manager, with a strong partnership with Executive Director and other staff in support of the Greater New England market.
- Oversee gift acknowledgement for assigned events and ensure best practices are followed and completed in a timely manner.
- Strategically and consistently utilize CRM data management tool to maximize efficiency and effectively track donor pipeline.
- Maintain a good understanding of JDRF's mission and research efforts.
- Support and demonstrate commitment to the vision, mission, priorities, and guiding principles of JDRF. Understand and serve as a key staff member in implementing the strategic direction and purpose of the chapter.
- Support other fundraising events, chapter activities, and programs as assigned.
- College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to work on projects independently with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize and organize multiple projects, meet deadlines, problem-solve and multi-task.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.?Ability to build rapport with participants, donors, volunteers, and the public.
- Must be a self-starter while also being collaborative and adaptable and must enjoy working on a team. Sense of humor a plus
- CRM and Peer-to
- Peer fundraising database knowledge (Salesforce and Luminate Online preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to travel within the chapter footprint. Occasional evening and weekend work as needed.

This position is hybrid, with a minimum of two days in the Wellesley, MA office.
