- Help install, maintain, and service a wide variety of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment and systems.
- Replace belts and filters with assistance.
- Add refrigerants and oil to required systems.
- Clean necessary equipment and parts when needed.
- Pick up and deliver necessary parts, materials, supplies, tools and equipment.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in a safe and orderly condition.
- Perform related duties that are assigned.
- Perform on call duties for after hours and weekends.
- High School graduate or GED.
- Valid Georgia driver's license.
- Knowledge of standard practices and theory of the HVAC trade
- HVAC Technical school or Apprenticeship school training with 2 years' experience as a Service Technician
- Manual and electrical tools and equipment applicable to HVAC trade.
- Proper methods of storing equipment, materials, and supplies
- Follow oral/written instructions and directions
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Work cooperatively with others.
- Work independently with little direction
- Meet schedules and timelines
- Maintain routine records
- Observe legal and defensive driving practices
- Work involves moderate exposure to elements, such as hot/cold temperatures, dirt, dust, and/or loud noises.

Overview
HVAC Service Apprentices will be required to assist HVAC Technicians during routine maintenance and inspections on new and existing systems.
