- Obtain repair orders from the dispatcher and proceed to the stall area.
- Conduct repairs as specified on the repair order with efficiency and precision, aligning with dealership and factory guidelines.
- Identify the root cause of any malfunction and carry out the necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with the parts department to acquire required components.
- Label and store parts if the job is under warranty or per customer request.
- Inspect the vehicle to determine the need for additional safety or service tasks.
- Immediately inform the service advisor if the outlined additional work is unnecessary or excessive.
- Report to the service advisor promptly if repairs cannot be completed within the promised timeframe.
- Document all completed work.
- Conduct road tests on vehicles as needed or refer to the test technician, ensuring that customer vehicles are not used for personal errands.
- Oversee the work of apprentice technicians as assigned.
- Participate in factory-sponsored training sessions.
- Stay updated on factory technical bulletins.
- Ensure cleanliness of customers' cars.
- Maintain a tidy and organized shop area, accounting for all dealership-owned tools consistently.
- Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations concerning the disposal of hazardous wastes.
- Strictly follow all company safety protocols and procedures, and promptly report any accidents to a manager or supervisor.
- High Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) is essential.
- ASE or manufacturer training.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Manual dexterity and good judgment.

- All candidates must carry out duties and responsibilities in a secure manner.
