Position description:

UCSF School of Medicine and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals
Division of Medical Genetics, Department of Pediatrics
HS Clinical, Clinical X, Adjunct, In Residence Faculty Series


The Division of Medical Genetics in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals is currently seeking clinical geneticists to join our team.

Appointments will be made at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate or Full Professor ranks in the Health Sciences (HS) Clinical, Clinical X, Adjunct, or In Residence faculty series.

Academic rank is commensurate with experience.


Qualifications:

  • Ability to practice medicine in California or eligibility to do so.
  • Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics or equivalent.
  • At least two years of experience, or formal training, in clinical genetics.

For positions that are 51% effort or more:
The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $104,800-$320,100. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

For positions that are 50% effort or less:
See Table 2 for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimate for this position is $74,800-$228,600.
