    MANUFACTURING ENGINEER (STARSHIP COMPONENTS)

    Are you ready to be part of the cutting-edge team at SpaceX working towards enabling human life on Mars? The Starship Components Manufacturing team is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to help assemble, test, and troubleshoot innovative flow control devices and mechanisms for Starship/Super Heavy.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Design state-of-the-art flow control devices and mechanisms for Starship and Super Heavy
    • Optimize production flow and implement targeted automation for accelerated production
    • Collaborate with development teams to ensure parts are easily manufacturable
    • Conduct component level testing and maintain high production standards
    • Work towards zero workmanship defects and prepare for future missions

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in physics or engineering
    • 1+ years of mechanical design/manufacturing experience

    PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Leadership and effective communication skills
    • Experience with fluid and electromechanical components
    • Knowledge of fluid dynamics, mechanics, and electrical circuits
    • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings
    • Experience in software development (SQL, Python, C#)

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Willingness to travel as needed
    • Flexibility to work long hours and weekends

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

    Base salary ranges between $95,000 to $130,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition, enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including medical coverage, 401(k) plan, paid leave, and more.

    ITAR REQUIREMENTS:

    • Applicants must meet U.S. Government export regulations
