- Promote financial wellbeing opportunities for employees. This includes communications, presentations to new hires, education sessions for employees. Manage our Employee Education Plan (Tuition Reimbursement) and vendor administration of that program.
- Administration of 401(k), defined benefit pension plans, and severance plans.
- Perform data research in digital and paper files to support participant inquiries and audit requests.
- Advise and facilitate corrections as needed for 401(k) with third-party record keeper and/or payroll.
- Back-up to Benefits Analyst in activities such as 401(k) funding, and interface error resolutions.
- Support certain cyclical activities such 401(k) reconciliations, non-qualified plan administrative processes, and non-discrimination testing that require excel skills such as lookups and advanced formulas
- Assist is Severance plan administration, data reporting and analysis as needed
- Be key point person for participant escalations, ensure issues resolved timely, work with company and vendor call centers to improve service levels, liaison with third-party pension administrator to investigate pension benefit inquiries, liaison with internal IT DBS team and external vendors on interface and data issues
- Support team in ongoing process improvements and process documentation updates

- 2 - 3 years in 401K plan administration; experience in defined benefits pension plans preferred but not required
- Experience in administrative, analytical or project management role demonstrating organizational skills

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
This candidate will support the Retirement Team in financial well-being education and in day-to-day administration of pension and 401(k) plans. A core responsibility will be managing financial well-being communications through a third-party vendor and internal communication channels, keeping employees apprised of opportunities for education and engagement. Knowledge and experience in 401(k) plans needed to support the team in day-to-day administration but also to educate employees on how to utilize the benefit.
