Material Handler Splint Shift


Major Responsibilities Results Expected Kits stock and/or sales order jobs from the Ensures jobs due and available are kitted work center priority list based on what is ready and ready for work. to be kitted and coming due.

Routes kitted jobs to their designated staging Ensures all parts are kitted for the correct areas. order and the traveler is marked with the location.


Routes kitted jobs to next operation based on Assigned jobs are delivered to the the priority order the foremen assigns those appropriate work center in a safe and timely jobs.

Picks up all green tagged parts and takes All green tag pargs are moved to the proper them to the next staging area whether for staging area within 24 hours.

Puts away stock or sales order parts that are Parts are available for kitting when needed. not ready for kitting in the designated location. The location may be a temporary area in the Weld Warehouse.

Manufacturing receipts stock parts into Ensures part quantities and locations are inventory. accurate in ERP system.

Material Handling Lead/ Receives general and day-to-day direction, performance Planner expectations and reviews, coaching, development, and salary changes from this contact

Manufacturing Foremen and Partners with this group to support the production process. Leads

Manufacturing Operators Provides this group with material at the correct stage in the manufacturing process.

Planning Group Partners with this contact to resolve inventory and material discrepancies.


KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum Work Experience

  • Minimum one year forklift experience
  • Minimum one year overhead crane experience

Minimum Skill Requirements

  • Proven ability to read a tape measure
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to airborne particles or fumes. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Must be able to tolerate seasonal hot and cold conditions.


Physical Requirements Frequently required to stand, sit, walk and stoop; bend, kneel or crouch; talk or hear. Regularly required to lift or move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to see with corrected vision to nearly 20/20 or better and to differentiate colors.

$ $22.50 per hour
