Description

Responsibilities:


Client Relationship Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance and support throughout the entire insurance process.

Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients to understand their unique needs and tailor insurance solutions accordingly.


Policy Management:
Manage a diverse portfolio of personal lines insurance policies, including auto, home, renters, umbrella, and other personal coverages. Conduct regular policy reviews to assess coverage adequacy and identify potential gaps or opportunities for upselling.


New Business Development:
Collaborate with the sales team to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within the existing client base. Actively participate in the acquisition of new clients through referrals and other business development efforts.


Policy Issuance and Renewals:
Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals efficiently and accurately. Ensure policies are issued in a timely manner and communicate renewal options to clients in advance.


Claims Assistance:

Assist clients in filing insurance claims and act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers during the claims process.

Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure fair and timely claims resolution.


Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal procedures. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, documentation, and files in the agency management system.


Insurance Market Knowledge:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, changes in regulations, and advancements in insurance products and coverages. Utilize this knowledge to provide expert advice and recommendations to clients.


Customer Service Excellence:
Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and professionalism in all interactions with clients, carriers, and team members. Address and resolve client inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.


Performance Metrics:
Meet or exceed established performance metrics related to policy retention, new business generation, cross-selling, and client satisfaction.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Proven experience as a Personal Lines Account Manager, Insurance Agent, or similar role within the insurance industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in personal lines insurance products, coverages, and policy management.
  • Proficiency in using agency management systems and insurancerelated software.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and team members.
  • Detailoriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Valid insurance licenses (e.g., Property & Casualty) as required by state regulations or willingness to obtain them.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and going the extra mile to meet client needs.
