Executive Secretary12 month positionJOB GOAL:
To perform organizational and secretarial responsibilities in support of the Principal and Assistant Principal. 1. Creates correspondence, reports, and disseminates this information to appropriate parties. 2.
Obtains, gathers, and organizes pertinent data as needed and puts it into a usable form. 3. Maintains a regular filing system, as well as a set of locked confidential files, and processes incoming correspondence. 4.
Places, receives, and processes all telephone calls, incoming mail, or other information.5. Orders and maintains supplies as needed. 6. Performs any bookkeeping or recordkeeping tasks associated with the specific position.
- Maintains a schedule of appointments and makes arrangements for conferences and interviews. 8. Welcomes visitors and screens callers.
- Publishes legal notices concerning district business.10. Prepares executive summaries and reports as needed.11. Maintains confidentiality in all matters related to personnel and other matters of a confidential nature.
- Conducts research on topics and prepares summary reports as requested.13. Manages all office filing systems for the district.14. Works with other administrative executive secretaries to ensure effective and efficient office procedures.15.
