    Mental Health Therapist/Counselor - Counselor Trainee's Welcome to Apply

    The role of a **Mental Health Therapist/Counselor** involves providing therapy under the guidance of the Clinical Director and counselor supervisor. The focus is on conducting individual, group, and family therapies, as well as coordinating various clinical mental health activities.

    The **Counselor** will be responsible for performing diagnostic and assessment procedures based on qualifications and abilities, among other assigned duties.


    Responsibilities:
    - Conducts daily individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
    - Performs diagnostic and assessment procedures in accordance with standards.
    - Coordinates various clinical activities.
    - Assists in monitoring care compliance with agency policies.
    - Provides necessary reports to supervisors regarding client treatment.
    - Attends meetings and training sessions as required.
    - Maintains contact with relevant parties regarding client activities.
    - Keeps documentation up to date.
    - Meets with outside agencies for various purposes as needed.
    - Navigates Electronic Health Record system.
    - Undertakes additional assigned duties.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Education: Bachelor's degree in Counseling or related field. Must meet **Ohio Counseling and Social Work Board** requirements.
    Licensure: Current Ohio License for counseling.
    Experience: Experience with MH diagnosis preferred.
    Interpersonal Skills: Professional interaction with others.
    Technical/Motor Skills: Organizational, communication, and fine dexterity skills.
    Age-Specific Care Criteria: Ability to provide appropriate care based on patient age.
    Supervision: Non-supervisory role.

    - Adaptability to a dynamic environment.
    - Positive references and background checks required.
