AmeriLux International is hiring We are looking for a hardworking, driven, team member to join our distribution center. You can expect to be cross-trained through the departments in our DC - giving you the ability to float where needed and eventually being assigned a permanent department that fits your skills and desires in addition to the needs of our Operations team and AmeriLux International. Position Summary


Handle materials, cut lumber to length using automated upcut saw, cut plywood to length and width using table saw, build crates to accurate dimensions, accurately process outgoing orders, and load orders on designated trucks.

Basic carpentry skills are preferred.


Primary Responsibilities

Warehouse

  • Properly build, store and ship outgoing orders
  • Handle and organize incoming material
  • Properly execute the outgoing orders
  • Operate a forklift safely
  • Operate tools and equipment in a safe manner
  • Any other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to hear communication via telephone and in person
  • Ability to speak communication via telephone
  • Ability to lift approximately 50# individually and as part of a team
  • Carpentry Experience Preferred

Education/Qualifications

  • Basic Math skills
  • Adept with tools
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and electronic)
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to make objective decisions
The ability to work independently and as part of a team with a high degree of enthusiasm, professionalism, and motivation
