    Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator

    Company: Cutting-edge Medical Research Institute

    Location: Jacksonville with regional travel as necessary

    Position Type: Full Time

    The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) plays a pivotal role within our cutting-edge Medical Research Institute team. As a specialized research professional, the CRC collaborates closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) to ensure the successful implementation of clinical trials. Working hand in hand with the PI, the CRC supports, facilitates, and coordinates the day-to-day activities of the study, contributing significantly to its overall success.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Administrative
      • Expertise in crafting proposals and securing new clinical trials
      • Ensuring study compliance with state and federal regulations
      • Recruitment of potential study participants and conducting intake assessments
      • Maintaining accurate study-related records
      • Acting as the primary contact for study participants
      • Managing study-related equipment and supplies inventory
      • Attending promotional events to advocate for the study
      • Collecting specimens and entering data into electronic systems
      • Generating comprehensive reports on each study
      • Collaborating with the PI and department to address audit findings and implement suggestions
      • Assisting in preparing a well-categorized budget
      • Verifying the accuracy and completeness of budget costs
    • Professional
      • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a clinical research environment
      • Preference for experience in Dermatology
      • Established relationships with clinical liaisons in the pharmaceutical sector
      • Prior experience in staff mentoring and training is advantageous
      • Demonstrates exceptional organizational and time management capabilities
      • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while also being a team player

    • Qualifications and Education Requirements:
      • Minimum 3 years' experience as a CRC, with Dermatology background being a plus
      • Preferably holds CRC/ACRP-CP certification
      • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree is preferred
      • Proficiency in computer applications, EMR systems, and clinical research databases
