Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.

We are currently seeking candidates for a 3.5-year apprenticeship as a Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) for DB Fernverkehr AG at our location in Lörrach.

The vocational school is also located in Lörrach.

What to expect in your apprenticeship:

  • Working with mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting errors and malfunctions
  • Learning how to expertly fix issues
  • Ensuring that our trains are always ready for operation
  • Maintaining and repairing electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic controls in our vehicles, such as information displays, doors, and monitoring systems

Your profile:

  • You have successfully completed (or will soon complete) your education
  • You have a strong understanding of math and physics
  • You are skilled in handson work and enjoy tinkering in your free time
  • You are passionate about vehicles and technology
  • You have a careful and reliable work ethic
