The Communication, Information, and Media Center (KIM) is the central service facility of the University of Hohenheim for communication technology, digital information processing, and media supply.

The IT Infrastructure department of KIM operates, among other things, the campus network of the University of Hohenheim, which is connected to the state university network BelWü and the German Research Network (DFN).

High-availability routing and switching infrastructures, as well as firewall systems, are used for the operation of IT services such as storage, email, hosting, or HPC services.
