_Job Duties_
- Purchases materials and/or other goods involved with procuring products and services, such as raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies and etc.
- Receive and review requisitions requesting goods or services.
- Obtain product and/or service information, such as price, availability, and delivery schedule. Insure cost reductions by vendor interaction, product comparison and knowledge by continuously managing vendor relationships.
- Perform all purchasing functions in a light manufacturing environment.
- Support all MRO activities within the organization.
_Job Requirements_
- College degree with 5 years experience in manufacturing preffered.
- MRP/purchase orders/accounting systems.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a purchasing field required.
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with various departments within the organization.
- Must be proficient in MS excel and accounting software.
- MAS500 experience is a plus
