Position: Physical Therapist Assistant

Salary Range: $40 to $45/hr

Responsibilities:

Work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to implement individualized treatment plans for residents.
Provide direct hands-on therapy, including exercises, therapeutic activities, and manual techniques, to improve mobility, strength, and range of motion.
Assist residents with ambulation, transfers, and activities of daily living as part of their rehabilitation program.
Monitor resident progress and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to adjust treatment plans as needed.
Educate residents and their families on exercises and techniques to promote independence and prevent injury.
Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and resident progress in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and nursing staff to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes.

Requirements:

Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of California.
Experience working in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
