Catering Assistant (61) Catering Assistant Ref: Job Information Division: Caterplus Advert Closing Date: 28/02/2022 Contractual Hours:Part-time Salary:8.91 Per hour Contract Type:Permanent Location:York, YO10 5FD Working Environment We are looking for a Catering Assistant who prides themselves on delivering high standards and has a passion for exceptional service for one of our independent living homes in York.

Job Description Your key responsibilities as the Catering Assistant will consist of:

Assisting the cook to provide meals to the tenants.

Prepping Vegetables, washing up, taking orders, and serving food to the tenants.

Cleaning down the kitchen and helping keep on top of daily cleaning in the kitchen and in the dining room.

To work well on your own as well as part of the team.

**Working Pattern**: Any 5 of 7 -28 hours per week

Skills and Experience The experience and knowledge we are looking for from the future Catering Assistant include:

Genuine interest in customer service excellence

A team player

Catering experience desirable but not essential
