    Loyola University Medical Center is located approximately 30 minutes from Downtown Chicago


    We are seeking Ophthalmology professional who are dedicated to providing exceptional care to those we serve at Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC) Ambulatory.

    • Perform basic and routine eye examination procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of eyediseases and problems. Explain diagnostic and treatment procedures to patients.
    • Minimum Education:
    Required: Associates Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education


    • COT or COA certifications
    • Minimum Experience:
    Preferred: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience


    • Licensure/Certifications:

    Other: After graduation from an ophthalmic technician education course, staff in the Ophthalmic Assistant position are required to become certified ophthalmic assistants within the first year of employment.
