We are seeking an enthusiastic and technically proficient IT Field Support Technician to join our dynamic team.

As an IT Field Support Technician, you will be the face of Modern IT, providing hands-on IT support directly to our clients.

You will embody our values of informed stances, demystifying IT, moving forward with velocity, acting as humans first, and building for better.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide onsite technical support to clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Support various client sites as needed. Travel to client sites is reimbursed.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and software.
  • Educate and train clients on IT best practices and Modern IT solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver innovative IT solutions.
  • Stay informed about the latest IT trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Uphold Modern IT's values and brand standards in all interactions.

Qualifications:


  • 1 year of experience in IT support or a related role, with experience working directly with customers or clients to resolve technical issues and deliver exceptional service.
  • Proficient technical knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and network management, including experience with hardware troubleshooting, software installations, and network configurations.
  • Excellent problemsolving and communication skills, with the ability to effectively diagnose and resolve issues while maintaining clear and professional communication with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, with experience in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service, demonstrated through previous experience in delivering handson IT support and training to clients.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement, with a willingness to stay updated on the latest IT trends and technologies.
  • Understanding of helpdesk/support desk processes highly preferred.

Compensation:


Competitive Salary:
$25-$28 per hour (full time 40 hours)
