    Job Description


    The Department of Occupational Therapy in the College of Health Professions at The University of Findlay invites applications for a 12-month tenure-track position.

    The start date for this position can be as early as August 1, 2024.

    Candidate must be committed to student-centered education, professional development, service, and scholarship. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications.

    Candidate who has teaching experience in Occupational Therapy as well as practice experience in the areas of mental health, leadership and management is preferred.

    Doctorate in Occupational Therapy with board certification or a terminal academic doctoral degree in a related field (e.g. Ph.
    D.) is preferred. Eligibility for or current Ohio license is required. Candidates should have the ability to function well within a collegial, collaborative work environment.

    The candidate must possess strong communication skills and a desire to work with students in a university setting that prides itself on providing close relationships between students and faculty.


    The University of Findlay assumes responsibility for assignment of faculty to courses and committee assignments, student advising, and input for curriculum planning.

    The rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications for the position.
