Position Information

Participates with other counselors, the Assistant Director and Associate Director in the ongoing development and enhancement of the UCR Financial Aid Office processing system (Banner); Maintains federal grants records; presents financial aid information both on and off-campus to groups of current and prospective students and campus partners; Active contributor to discussions and recommends change when appropriate to better meet the needs to the populations served; Uses an understanding of the special needs and problems experienced by students from disadvantaged backgrounds and address these needs by offering supportive guidance; Composes correspondence to students and other clients relative to aid eligibility and office policy and procedures; performs special assignments and other duties as assigned by the Director of Financial Aid, Associate Director, or Assistant Director.

The full salary range for the Federal Grants Officer is $59,000 - $103,400 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $59,000 - $63,955.

We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
