Rococo Dessert Bar is eagerly seeking passionate individuals to join our kitchen staff who will create an exceptional experience for our guests in this upcoming season Our dessert program is exciting and complex, so organization and strong communication skills are a must. This is also our first summer being open to the public, so the ability to adapt and learn on the job is crucial. We offer a competitive rate of
$15-18/hr, with the opportunity to increase that rate based on your commitment and efficiency.

Duties


A BOH staff member in charge of desserts juggles making and decorating desserts, keeping track of time to get them ready when needed, cleaning dishes and tools, communicating with the team about menus and customer requests, and managing ingredient inventory.

They also ensure the kitchen stays clean and meets food safety standards. Their role is all about multitasking, teamwork, and delivering top-notch desserts and service.


Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and cook desserts according to the menu and recipes provided
  • Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
  • Monitor food inventory levels and communicate if orders need to be placed
  • Collaborate with the other staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all health and safety regulations

We are a dessert bar, so this position doesn't require extensive kitchen experience or skills.
