Schedule:

Nights and Weekends_**The Lead Floor Care Specialist is responsible for cleaning and polishing a variety of floor types using specialized products and equipment.


Responsibilities:


  • LVT (Laminate Vinyl Tile) strip and finish
  • Scrubbing
  • Buffing
  • Waxing
  • Carpet cleaning
  • VCT (Vinyl Composite Tile) strip and finish
  • Floor polishing
  • Upholstery care
  • Clean and maintain floors across diverse commercial settings.
  • Utilize standard company procedures and equipment for assigned duties.
  • Perform carpet care tasks such as wet extraction, wand extraction, and encapsulation.
  • Upholstery care

  • Stone floor maintenance.
  • Top scrubbing of hard floors.
  • Care for rubber flooring.
  • Conduct basic maintenance on equipment.
  • Keep track of and replenish supplies inventory.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours as required.
  • Fulfill other assigned duties as needed.
  • Travel to building sites around West Michigan to perform job duties.

Requirements:


  • MUST have reliable transportation
  • 13 years of previous floor care experience
  • Previous commercial cleaning experience, preferred
  • Must be able to meet physical requirements of position

Physical Requirements:


  • Prolonged periods standing.
  • Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
