167 Hospitality Group is hiring a Manager for 167 RAW Fish Market, Food Truck, and Catering. This is a summer seasonal position on the island of Nantucket, Massachusetts. Season will begin in May and end in October 2024. This position has the opportunity for recurring employment.

167 Raw is located by Cisco Beach on Nantucket Island. This is a wonderful opportunity to work on an island filled with nature trails, beaches, fishing, dining, and shopping. The quintessential New England island is the best summer work location.

The manager works among a leadership team, including the chef, the market manager and director of operations. 167 is seeking an organized person that can excel in employee management and customer service. Strong communication, work ethic, and proactive attitude are key attributes for this position.

167 Raw operates a gourmet market which sells raw seafood, high end food items, beer & wine, and 167 merchandise.

Alongside the market, the food truck is open daily from 11am - 7pm. Catering events include raw bar, lobster bakes, and cocktail fare at private residences.

The manager oversees daily operations, employees, staff schedule, time cards, POS systems, cash deposits, and catering invoices. Managers also participate in the job tasks of the store.

Our fish market employees are responsible for cutting portions of fish, keeping a clean fish case display and store front, ringing up retail orders on a touch screen computer system, and basic kitchen preparations.

Lodging is available in a shared duplex house. A single room will be provided, furnished with bed, side table, and closet. Each side of the duplex is equipped with a kitchen, living room, laundry, and 1.5 baths. This house is located 3 miles from 167 Raw in the center of the island. Walking distance from post office, banks, grocery stores, and bus stops. Only 167 staff members are living in the house. No smoking, no pets.


Requirements:

• Previous management experience, 1 year minimum
• Professional references and background check
• Work hours a week, 6 days a week
• Work May October 202
• Valid Driver's License
• Able to work on their feet for long periods of time
• Able to lift 50+lbs
