Description

Mid-size, multi-state law firm looking for an experienced litigation paralegal to assist Community Association attorneys in our Mesa, AZ location with insurance defense, construction defect, and general HOA litigation.


Job Functions

  • Understand AZ state and local court rules, guidelines, case workflow processes;
  • Experience with disclosure and discovery responses and objections
  • Draft, review and revise correspondence, documents, and pleadings
  • Legal research, including checking citations
  • Ability to work independently
  • Attention to detail and organization skills are a must
  • Proven competencies in general computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite

Education and Experience - at least _one_ of the following:

  • Certificate of completion of an ABA-approved paralegal program, with a recommended minimum of three years of litigation experience in a law firm
  • Certificate of completion of a paralegal program at or a degree from a postsecondary institution that requires the successful completion of a minimum 24 semester or equivalent units in lawrelated courses and that has been accredited by a national or regional accrediting organization, with a recommended minimum of three years of litigation experience in a law firm
  • HOA construction defect litigation experience a plus
