Join Our Dynamic Team as a Category Development Manager (Spirits/RTD/Malt)


What We Look For:


  • Master's degree plus 3 years of category development or sales experience with increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Business, Economics, or Supply Chain plus 4 years of sales or category development experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of category development or sales experience with increasing levels of responsibility OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 9 years of category development or sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Willingness to travel by airplane and automobile for work, up to 25% of the time.
  • Ability to obtain Liquor License as required by state/local regulations.
  • Willingness to travel to company offices, sites, and meetings for necessary events and training up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be 18 years or older.

What Will Make You Stand Out:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of Gallo winery or distributor sales or category development experience, including previous roles as a Business Development Manager, Market Development Manager Sr, or Account Manager 2; OR Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of external alcohol sales experience with category development focus.
  • Prior supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis, problem-solving, and advanced data manipulation for insights.
  • Familiarity with MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, GCO, IRI, Spectra, MS Excel, and ProSpace at a basic level.

Compensation Details:

  • Hiring salary range: $102,410 - $153,710 per year
  • Final compensation depends on factors such as education, experience, skills, and alignment with market data.
