- Lead the monthly accounting close process, ensuring accurate and complete accounting records prepared in accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct analytical reviews of operating results, including customer profitability, contract negotiations, pricing decisions, insurance, and capital investments.
- Provide financial analyses as needed to support strategic decision-making.
- Support the CFO with monthly debt compliance reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Work closely with the executive team to shape the overall financial strategy of the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing financial insights to drive business decisions.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze variances between budgeted and actual results, offering insights and recommendations.
- Manage cash flow and liquidity, ensuring funds are available for daily operations and strategic initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in the construction industry.
- PE-backed company experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, GAAP, and compliance requirements.
- Audit experience is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in financial planning and forecasting.
- Experience with Jonas Enterprise construction software considered a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
