The Communications & Air Space Management (CAMS) division is seeking an enthusiastic recent college graduate to join as a finance professional supporting the STARS (Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System) Finance team as a cost, schedule, and control analyst. STARS is a crucial Air Traffic System used across US airports and DoD airfields worldwide. This role calls for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is willing to immerse into the financial aspects of the STARS program.

The selected candidate will work with the Business Management Finance team to fulfill the finance requirements of the STARS program and gain expertise in financial systems, processes, and procedures for STARS. Responsibilities include working with EVMS tools, assisting with EACs, financial analysis, variance analysis, customer support, and Program Surveillance. Compliance with Raytheon financial policies and Sarbanes Oxley requirements is essential, with a potential for involvement in proposal generation and collaborative goal achievement as part of a team.

This role demands a self-starter with problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Relocation assistance may be provided.


Primary Responsibilities:
  • Program cost and schedule financial analysis, budgeting, and estimating
  • Assist with weekly/monthly financial Earned Value reporting
  • Conduct Adhoc financial and variance analysis as needed
  • Be an active member of the Finance team, sharing best practices and optimizing processes
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, functions, pivot tables, Vlookups)

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 12 months or less of relevant professional experience (excluding internships)
  • U.S. citizenship required for program/contract access

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Enthusiastic, proactive attitude with a thirst for experiential learning
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Prior internship or coop experience
