As a counselor at Mosholu Day Camp, you play a pivotal role in creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for campers to thrive.
Your primary responsibility is to ensure the well-being and enjoyment of the children under your care throughout their camp experience.
This entails leading and participating in various activities, including sports, arts and crafts, nature exploration, and team-building exercises. You'll guide campers in developing new skills, fostering friendships, and embracing challenges with confidence. Additionally, you'll be a positive role model, promoting inclusivity, respect, and cooperation among campers.Your attentiveness and ability to adapt to different situations will be crucial in addressing any concerns or conflicts that may arise, while also maintaining open communication with campers' parents or guardians.
Ultimately, as a Mosholu Day Camp counselor, you'll contribute to creating lasting memories and positive growth experiences for each camper in your care.
