Position Summary


The individual fulfilling this role will spend approximately 50% of their time functioning as a Service Technician, and must also satisfy the "Qualifications" and be prepared to "Make an Impact" in accordance with COPD Program Coordinator job description 50% of their time.


How You'll Make an Impact

  • Responsible for ensuring all scheduled orders are properly delivered/picked up on time including collection of customer payments at time of delivery
  • Set up and removal of prescribed medical equipment
  • Ensures receipt of damaged equipment is returned to the warehouse technician for maintenance or replacement
  • Administer home safety assessment by educating customers on safe and effective equipment use, treatment and service requirements on medical equipment
  • Perform assessments/reassessments of each patient's care or service needs
  • Ensures compliance for equipment management, delivery vehicles, and delivery of services and products
  • Participate in On-Call Service Rotation and Delivery Schedule

What You Must Bring to This Role

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Associates degree from a 2year college and/or 4 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience desired
  • Exposure to and comfort with basic math skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division required
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills required
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to build personal and teambased relationships with all employees required
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Proven history in delivery and/or service of medical equipment desired
  • A working knowledge of Bright Tree software desired
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving practices and procedures desired
