Role Overview The Manager, Accounting will be responsible for collecting and analyzing financial data, implementing and aligning strategies to generate and increase revenue, and forecasting and adjusting pricing based on market conditions and demand Responsibilities
Obtain and evaluate contract
Identify the performance obligations (e.g., vehicle, accessories, technology [ADAS], stand-ready [software maintenance], OTA subscriptions, delivery service)
Determine the transaction price (e.g., MSRP, add-ons, services, technology, tax incentives [reductions], D&H, discounts / incentives [reductions], estimates for returns)
Allocate transaction price to performance obligations (determine stand-alone selling price, relative values, allocate to each performance obligation)
Estimates - sales returns, SSP, transaction price
Recognition, processing, reconciling - AR, deposits, reservations, sales returns
Cutoff procedures - in-transit vehicle, technology products / services recognized over time
Maintenance services - apply 5-step model noted above
Wallbox, merchandise sales - apply 5-step model noted above
Customer loyalty points - customer consideration
Development of processes and internal controls over revenue transactions
Document and maintain evidence of the operation of internal control
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
Public company experience preferred.
Automotive OEM or Tier One Revenue Accounting
strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Highly skilled in math, accounting and financial processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail oriented and highly organized
Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks.
Excellent critical thinking skills
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in revenue management
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data-related software
Strong understanding of financial principles and models
Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets
Expected Salary Range :
$67, $140,000.00 Additional compensation : Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker's equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
Benefits:
Fisker provides comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, vision, and disability insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26.
Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees.The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations.
Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above.
