This Corporate Clinical Consultant (CCS) position will have responsibilities in the South Texas Region:

Job Summary:


Responsible for providing clinical direction, goals, and strategies for assisting assigned facilities and health care organizations to comply with appropriate state and federal guidelines in accordance with established policies and procedures.


Responsibilities:


  • Assures that quality care is provided to all patients/residents in assigned facilities or health care organizations
  • Assists in the implementation of clinical systems
  • Assists in the identification of potential and actual problem areas by performing visits, completing clinical scorecards, and analyzing clinical and financial data
  • Monitors, records, and reports on all survey activity and assists in establishing a plan for ensuring a facility attains survey compliance
  • Assists in establishing a plan for ensuring a facility attains survey compliance
  • Assists with the recruitment, interviewing and onboarding of facility based personnel as required, particularly the Director of Nursing.
  • Attends and participates in workshops as seminars to keep abreast of current changes in the health care field, as well as to maintain a professional status
  • Interprets facility policies and procedures regarding, personnel, patients/residents, and visitors as necessary
  • Ensures that grievance and abuse standards are implemented, maintained and followed in accordance with established facility policies and procedures
  • Serves on various committees as directed by the VP of Clinical Services
  • Keeps abreast of current economic conditions/situations and recommend adjustments to the Vice President of Clinical Services to ensure that the objectives of the company can be maintained
  • Is able to travel extensively in this position
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications:


  • Registered Nurse license is required, BSN preferred
  • Must have 3 years' experience in Long Term, Post-Acute or Acute Care. Any combination of experience and training that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities
  • Must have a valid driver's license, auto insurance and a reliable vehicle.
