- Handling all stages of a criminal, juvenile, or school disciplinary case
- Seeing the simple, complex, and creative solutions to a situation, explain each to a client in plain English, and help the client select the best solution for his or her situation based upon their goals and facts of the case
- Accurately track all time spent on matters in the case management system, while being ethical and efficient in the time spent on cases
- Being able to anticipate the time that will be spent on matters and notifying clients of recommended courses of action as well as anticipated time to pursue this course of action
- Establish a relationship and rapport with a client, and maintain that relationship and rapport throughout the case
- Provide supervision and direction to other team members, to ensure everything is on track for the cases you are working on
- Following our policies, systems, & procedures to handle cases in the manner that provides quality representation
- Providing outstanding customer service
- Minimum of 2-3 years of criminal law experience as a prosecutor, defense attorney, or public defender in Georgia (3rd Year Practice Act will be Considered)
- Active Member in Good Standing with the State Bar of Georgia
- Motions and trial experience preferred, but not required

The Teen & Young Adult Defense Firm believes in helping people achieve their full potential and being the best versions of themselves that they can be. This extends beyond how we treat our clients and in to how we view our role in our team members lives.
Our firm is located in Woodstock, Georgia. We are seeking an experienced attorney who enjoys handling criminal, juvenile, traffic, and school disciplinary matters. Juvenile delinquency experience and school tribunal experience is preferred, but not required.
This is a good opportunity for you if you want to take your own expertise, applying it to another person's situation, and work with the person to analyze their options to help them choose the best option for themselves.
Many of the clients prefer the certainty of a negotiated resolution over the uncertainty of litigation. This can lend itself to a greater amount of pre-trial resolutions to matters.
With many of the clients being in their teens and twenties, there is frequently family involved in the matter who will also have questions and want to understand the process. Ensuring their understanding is also part of the lawyer's responsibilities.

Compensation:$85,000 - $105,000 yearly
Responsibilities:We focus exclusively on helping individuals who've been accused of a criminal, juvenile, or school disciplinary matter. We have very high customer service standards, and our clients come first. Our firm's mission is to do everything we can to make sure that a bad decision or bad situation does not define a person's life. Beyond just providing thorough criminal defense services, we strive to make the process as stress-free and easy as possible, while being compassionate to what our clients and their families are experiencing. Oftentimes, this is one of the most difficult experiences of a person's life, and our firm does everything we can to ease that difficulty.
