Description
Under the direction of the Controller, this position will assist the Controller in directing the organization's financial activities by performing aspects of accounting, including, but not limited to, payroll, accounts payable, and general ledger.
Provides technical accounting expertise for the system and helps ensure financial information's integrity.Assists in developing, implementing, and maintaining accounting policies and providing timely, accurate services to customers at all levels of the institution.

Annual Salary Range:
$113, $167,752.00
Qualifications
Education:
- Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work. - Prefer a master's degree.
Experience:
- Must have a minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible accounting, finance, or general ledger experience that demonstrates a strong understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Requires prior experience in a hospital or ambulatory healthcare setting.
- Requires prior supervisory or management experience.
Certification/Licensure:
- Prefer Certification as a Certified Public Accountant.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Requires knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Governmental Accounting Standards.
- Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Must possess good customer service and communications skills, the ability to work with professionals, and maintain confidentiality standards.
- Requires thorough knowledge of general accounting, both in accrual and cash basis.
- Must be able to supervise and coordinate the work of subordinate personnel in a manner conducive to full performance and high morale.
- Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
