- Perform on site observations/inspections and document the results relative to the contractor's conformance with contract documents.
- Oversee the day to day administration of construction contracts in accordance with the Owner-Architect agreement.
- Facilitate timely communication between the owner, contractor, architect and consultants.
- Develop written field reports and complete project punch lists.
- Simultaneously manage personal schedule on multiple projects of different scope.
- Regional travel required.
- 8 + years of field experience managing construction projects, running jobs, and/or leading crews on site.
- Strong background in a variety of construction types, MEP building systems and a good understanding of construction documents, specifications, materials and processes/methods required
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle for extended periods
- Thorough knowledge of all construction industry trades and construction documentation
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or an equivalent degree field
- Experience with K-12 and higher education with large projects from $100k to $100 Million
- Knowledge of all building systems, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical and structural systems.
- Strong leadership and client relation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills as well as an appreciation and sensitivity for architectural design intent
- Positive attitude with proven proficiency of working collaboratively and effectively within a team setting including architects, engineers, contractors, owners, consultants and vendors.
- A self-starter with great time management skills who thrives in an environment with team-based decision making.

Job DescriptionGMB is currently seeking a full time, direct hire Construction Administrator to fill a role on our project teams. Our ideal candidate is an experienced Construction Administrator with a passion for educational design, and at least eight (8) years of relevant skills and experience.
