Description
Growing law firm in Austin, Texas is looking for a full-time litigation paralegal to assist with family law.

We represent real people at critical moments in their lives and are looking for someone who enjoys helping others as much as we do.

The position's responsibilities include working closely with the lawyer on cases from start to finish.

The litigation paralegal will handle new client onboarding, manage calendars, assist with discovery, assist with scheduling, e-file documents, and speak with clients to answer questions and convey information about the case.


Qualifications:

  • Must have 13 years of civil paralegal experience or have completed a paralegal certificate program
  • Strong skills with Word, Outlook, and particularly Excel
  • Familiarity with Slack, Clio, and Cloud Storage is a plus
  • Familiarity with eFiling in State and Federal courts
  • Basic experience with civil discovery
  • Excellent grammar skills and the ability to draft documents such as letters and memoranda
  • Be selfreliant. Asks questions but never make excuses.
  • Bilingual is a huge plus

This is a full time, in person position with normal hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm:
