Under the direction of the Strategic Management Information Technology Manager (IT Mgr) I, the Information Technology Specialist (IT Spec) I performs a wide variety of quality assurance, data collection, research, statistical, analytical, and reporting activities for programs under the Internal IT Services (IITS) Division, including the more independent, responsible, varied and complex technical research and statistical analysis work.
The IT Spec I may act as a consultant to IITS managers and staff, the department, other governmental entities, and stakeholders, on issues including such as quality assurance, data collection/analysis, research, reporting, and compliance.
The IT Spec I serve as a program expert in research design, data queries, data analysis, and evaluation and validation of data, demonstrating independence, a broad understanding of research and statistical methods, and the ability to synthesize data from a variety of disciplines.
The IT Spec I is proficient in utilizing programs such as Microsoft Office, specifically Power BI.The IT Spec I is expected to inform the Chief of Chief of Strategic Governance, Business Intelligence, and Internal Policy Management of current activities, achievements, and operating problems.
The IT Spec I must exercise considerable independence, initiative, and resourcefulness in carrying out responsibilities.- You will find additional information about the job in the

- Travel to CDT campuses and customer locations to coordinate project activities and/or attend meetings.
- May be required to work on weekends and outside normal work hours.
