We are seeking a skilled and motivated Material Handler Lead to oversee our material handling operations. The Material Handler Lead will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the material handling team, ensuring efficient movement of materials within our facility, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in a leadership role, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and prioritize the daily activities of the material handling team to ensure timely delivery of materials to production lines and accurate storage in designated areas.
Assign tasks and provide direction to material handlers to optimize workflow and productivity.
Train new material handlers on proper procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
Monitor inventory levels and replenish materials as needed to support production schedules.
Perform regular inspections of material handling equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs.
Maintain accurate records of material movements, including receipts, transfers, and withdrawals.
Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to material handling activities in a timely manner.
Collaborate with production supervisors and other departments to coordinate material requirements and ensure smooth operations.
Enforce safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a Material Handler or similar role required.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred.
Proficiency in operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Working Hours: 6:00am-3:30pm
