Description
The building doorman is responsible for the care and security of the building, tenants, and guests.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Greeting tenants and guests

  • Providing continuous tenant service presence at the desk, front doors and lobby.
  • Opening doors and managing packages and deliveries.
  • Assuring that all tenants may enjoy the common areas, including the lobby, fitness room, and laundry room.
  • Providing watchful building security throughout shift
  • Working closely with, communicating and alerting the building superintendent, handyman and/or porter of any irregularity.
  • Recording all tenant issues and requests and taking immediate steps to begin to address them.
  • Maintaining the public areas especially the lobby, elevators, package and mailrooms and other common areas.

Skills include:

  • Excellent communication skills, memory for names and faces and personal warmth toward others.
  • Responsive and friendly disposition.
  • Tenantservice oriented.

Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
$15.50 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Holidays
  • Overtime

Education:


  • High school or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

Customer Service: 2 years (preferred)

  • Security: 2 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (preferred)
