Plan, organize and implement a variety of educational and recreational programs with the intent of fostering independence of the residents regarding their physical, mental, social and emotional needs.

Coordinates and/or conducts programs for residents that are educational, recreational, and social.
Conducts group programs and oneonone visits.
Organizes and executes tours on and off campus for residents as well as instructs and supervises volunteers involved.
Keep current and proper records of resident involvement and response.
Provide residents encouragement and cueing to attend Life Enrichment opportunities offered.
Coordinate and assign volunteer interaction as appropriate.
Promote an environment of open communication between coworkers/multidisciplinary teams.
Follows state and federal regulations.
Reports potential/actual safety hazards to supervisors and/or Director of Safety and Security immediately.
Experience and/or education in programming, organizing and working with older adults.
Clear communication skills both verbal and written, as well as tact and courtesy when working working
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Ability to keep accurate and clear records according to Luther Manor
Use a team approach with all staff and departments.
Must function independently; have flexibility, and the ability to work effectively with all staff, residents and families.
Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends in accordance with resident needs and desires.
Ability to prioritize and be organized.
