The Visibility Systems Business Group, which includes Wiper Systems and Lighting Systems, develops and produces cutting-edge technologies to ensure optimal visibility and safety for drivers in all weather conditions, day and night, with a focus on design and comfort.


At our Unterföhring site, the Lighting Systems division is seeking a Product Technical Leader (M/F/d) to join our R&D team.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing an international team of front office engineers responsible for the technical interface with our customer BMW for the development of lighting products
  • Developing Valeo Lighting Systems products with the customer
  • Participating in customer management and escalation meetings
  • Anticipating critical issues and providing support in implementing corrective action plans
  • Releasing technical documentation and leading presentations for the customer
  • Expertise in customerspecific R&D procedures, standards, norms, and technical requirements
  • Supporting Valeo's global R&D teams and sharing lessons learned
  • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams at Valeo: Quality, Sales, Projects, Electronics, Marketing, After Sales, and Human
