The Village at Waterman Lake, the state's largest assisted living community, is seeking a kind, compassionate, patient individual to oversee the Activities Program in our Courtyard Building.
Responsibilities include scheduling, coaching and leading the Activities team; working hands on with mid stage dementia residents in The Courtyard, our specialized residence for the Memory Impaired and/or with skilled nursing residents in The Atrium, our 30-bed nursing home; leading two or more group Activities a day with residents; conducting one-on-one sensory type Activities with the less active and/or more memory impaired residents.
(Sensory activities would involve tasks that stimulate one of the 5 senses and could include anything from hand massages, aromatherapy, reading, music, art appreciation and games, depending on the individual's care plan, needs and preferences.)Job Types:
