GENERAL SUMMARY/BASIC PURPOSE OF JOB:

Calibrate, monitor, and maintain hemodialysis machine and dialysis equipment to provide dialysis treatment for patients with kidney failure under the direction of the assigned Hemodialysis Nurse/Hemodialysis Charge Nurse.

License/ Certification:

High School Diploma or GED plus relevant training acquired through work experience or education.
Must be certified as a dialysis technician via NNCC (Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission) or BONENT (Board of Nephrology Examiners Nursing Technology).
Active BLS required
