    Description

    West Pod:
    Arlington, Alliance, North Hills, Las Colinas, Fort Worth, Weatherford and Decatur

    Shift:
    Days, 3 shifts per pay period

    Do you want to work as a(an) RN Float Pool Endoscopy where your passion for creating positive patient interactions are valued? If you are dedicated to caring for the well-being of others, this could be your next opportunity.

    The RN is responsible for assessing the operative nursing care needs of patients, planning interventions and evaluating outcomes of care.

    The RN is responsible for providing care, which is appropriate for age specific (pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics), the developmental and safety needs, the planned procedure, and the anesthetic agent used.

    The RN will communicate and educate the patient and/or their family members and/or significant others regarding events pertinent to their care.

    The RN also anticipates and plans for the needs of the surgical team and coordinates the care provided in the endoscopy room while maintaining an aseptic and safe environment.

    Prepares the endoscopy rooms for scheduled procedures.
    Monitor and control the Operating Room environment.
    Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care needs of the patient.

    Document nursing care in compliance with policies procedures and practices established by the Surgical Services Departments and the hospital.

    You will be a resource for our Medical City hospitals in the

    West Pod:
    Alliance, Arlington, Fort Worth, Las Colinas, North Hills, Decatur and Weatherford.
    You will be at your assigned hospital for a duration of 12 weeks at a time.

    A Graduate of a School of Nursing. Must have at least 18 months of experience in an acute care hospital and 1 year in relevant specialty.
