Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the daily delivery of a wide variety of developmentally appropriate programs and activities.
  • Assist in the supervision and discipline of campers participating in programs and services within the designated program areas as well as throughout the camp/clubhouse as deemed appropriate.
  • Participate in collaborative programs, events, and field trips with staff from other clubhouse groups, staff from other BGCB clubhouses and community organizations as appropriate.
  • Assessing our impact is critical to our work. All staff is expected to participate in various evaluation efforts throughout each program year, including the annual member survey.
  • Secure and maintain materials, equipment and other resources belonging to the camp/program area(s). Maintain a safe and clean camp/program area.
  • Travel between sites and to activities as needed.
  • Other related duties as specified by Directors.

Position Requirements (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Work Demand:

  • High School degree or GED preferred.
  • Must be 18+ years of age.
  • Experience working with children/youth preferred.
  • Must be or become CPR and First Aid certified.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work with youth and families from a variety of backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work evening and weekend shifts, flexibility to work extended hours required.

Job Type:
Seasonal (Full-Time)


Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm

**Pay Range: $19 - $21 (Depending on Relevant Experience & Internal Equity)
