Role Overview: As a key member of our finance team, you will handle essential accounting functions and provide the financial insights necessary to drive our business forward. Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management: Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Receivable (AR) to ensure accurate and timely transactions.
  
• Contract and RFP Oversight: Manage the Request for Proposals (RFP) process, ensuring meticulous review and vetting of subcontractor contracts.
  
• Compliance and Reporting: Track and file pre-liens and manage subcontractor documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  
• Progress Billing: Coordinate with banks and insurance companies to confirm project completion before conducting final billing.
  
• Strategic Support: Provide essential financial data to support management decisions, maintaining precise and up-to-date financial reports.
  

Requirements

• Experience: 3-8 years of experience in construction accounting, with a thorough understanding of contracts, pre-liens, and financial software, preferably QuickBooks.
  
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with QuickBooks.
  
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  
• Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills with an exceptional focus on detail.
  
• Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening upon an accepted offer.
