    Join a leading developer in Northern California specializing in innovative construction projects including Single-Tenant Buildings, Shopping Centers, and Medical Facilities. Our commitment to exceeding client expectations is unwavering. As we expand, we seek a detail-oriented Accountant to enhance our financial operations and contribute to our continued success.

    Role Summary: The Accountant will play a crucial role in managing and executing accounting operations, ensuring financial compliance, and providing strategic insights to foster our growth objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Receivable (AR), ensuring accurate and timely processing.
    • Oversee the Request for Proposals (RFP) process, reviewing and vetting subcontractor contracts.
    • Facilitate proposals, gather and confirm subcontractor insurance and company information.
    • Track and file pre-liens and ensure all subcontractor paperwork and invoicing are executed correctly.
    • Responsible for progress billing, ensuring project completion is confirmed with banks and insurance before final billing.
    • Provide financial data to support management decisions and maintain accurate reporting.


    Requirements

    • 3 to 8 years of experience in construction accounting, specifically with contracts, pre-liens, and QuickBooks.
    • Strong understanding of RFP processes and contract management.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and QuickBooks.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.
    • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Must pass a background check and drug screen upon an accepted offer.


    Benefits

    • Monday – Friday, flexible hours (7 AM – 4:30 PM or 8 AM - 5 PM).
    • Possibility for a shorter lunch break.
    • Must be able to work onsite full-time in Sonora, CA.
