Description

The Hart of Catering & Cafe is looking for someone to help assist in our catering department. During the day we deliver to our corporate and university clients. At night, we produce small and large events. We are looking for someone who is looking to have their hard work rewarded.

This role is an important one and we are looking for someone that is hungry to grow and learn the catering world.

Responsibilities:

Set up and break down catering events, including tables, chairs, linens, and decorations
Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner
Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of catering areas
Provide excellent customer service to ensure guest satisfaction
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth execution of events

Experience:

Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred
Knowledge of bartending techniques and mixology is a plus
Familiarity with banquet and catering operations is beneficial
Ability to handle highpressure situations and multitask effectively
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
Basic understanding of food safety principles and practices
Culinary experience or training is a bonus
