The Chair for Wind Power Drives (CWD) at RWTH Aachen University conducts research in the field of drive systems for wind turbines.

In numerous research projects, the CWD has continuously developed wind turbines as a whole and their components in detail. The theoretical and simulation work is accompanied by experimental investigations of wind turbines at both component and system level.

Your Profile:

You are interested in examining proven machine elements in new application areas

You have previous knowledge of simulation methods used in mechanical engineering (desirable, but not required)
